Browser support and compatibility policy

Introduction

To ensure a secure, stable, and high-performance experience for all users of the platform, we have established this official Browser Support Policy. Our platform leverages modern web technologies to deliver advanced healthcare solutions, and this policy outlines the minimum browser requirements for optimal functionality.

Supported Browser: Google Chrome

The platform is optimized for the Google Chrome web browser. All application features are rigorously tested and validated on Chrome to ensure full compatibility and performance.

Supported Browser: Google Chrome

We officially support the latest stable version of Google Chrome and the two previous major versions. This is known as the “N-2” rule.

N: The most recent stable version of Chrome released to the public.

N-1: The major version immediately preceding the latest one.

N-2: The major version released before N-1.

Example: If the latest stable version of Google Chrome is 139.0.7258.137, the platform officially supports versions 139.x, 138.x, 137.x.

When a new stable version is released by Google, our support window shifts accordingly. In the example above, upon the release of Chrome 140.x, our support would officially cover versions 140.x, 139.x, 138.x.

User Experience on Unsupported Browsers

While the platform may still function on older versions of Google Chrome (older than N-2), we do not guarantee performance, feature availability, or stability. Users on unsupported browser versions may experience:

  • Degraded performance or slower loading times

  • Visual inconsistencies or layout issues

  • Inability to access new features

  • Unexpected application behavior

Our Support team will not be able to provide technical assistance for issues that are specific to unsupported browser versions.

For assistance with updating your browser or for any other technical questions, please contact our Support team through the official channels listed within the Synthesis Health application or on our company website.

Our Recommendation for the Best Experience

For optimal performance, security, and access to all features, we strongly recommend that all users run the latest stable version of Google Chrome and enable automatic updates. This ensures that you receive the most recent security patches and performance enhancements from Google, providing the best possible environment for using the platform.

Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it aligns with industry best practices and the evolving technological landscape.

FAQs

Why does the platform only support Google Chrome?

We standardize on Google Chrome because it is the most secure and widely used browser on the market. This allows us to focus all our engineering resources on a single platform, ensuring your experience is as stable and high-performing as possible. Chrome’s commitment to automatic security updates also provides the safest environment for the sensitive health data our platform manages.

What about other browsers like Safari, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge?

While the application might be accessible on other modern browsers, they are not officially supported. We do not test or validate platform features on them.

Is the platform supported on mobile devices or tablets?

The platform is fully optimized for the desktop version of Google Chrome. While you may be able to access the application on mobile or tablet versions of Chrome, the experience is not guaranteed, and some features may not function as intended.

How do I find out which version of Chrome I am using?

It’s simple! In your Chrome browser, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, go to Help, and then select “About Google Chrome.” The page will display your current version number and automatically check for updates.

How do I ensure my browser stays up to date?

Google Chrome is designed to update automatically. If you occasionally close and reopen your browser, it will install the latest stable version in the background. We strongly recommend leaving automatic updates enabled to ensure you always have the latest security patches and features for the best possible experience.
