Version 2.0

Effective date:

Apr 14, 2026

Release notes: Viewer

Viewer: Version 2.8.0

  1. Reset Annotations

The Reset Annotations tool removes all annotation overlays created during the current user session, without changing how images are displayed or arranged.

When selected, all session-based annotations from the current exam are cleared in a single action, including:

  • Linear, Cobb, angle, and ROI measurements

  • Text annotations

  • Spine annotations

  • Drop arrows and circles

If the tool is triggered using a keyboard shortcut, a confirmation dialog appears before the annotations are removed.

What is not affected:

Reset Annotations does not affect:

  • Window/level settings

  • Image layout or hanging protocols

  • Image navigation state

  • Annotations saved from previous sessions or stored in GSPS objects

Note: Only annotations added during the current active session are removed. Persisted or previously saved annotations remain unchanged.

  1. Power Wheel Configuration

The Power Wheel allows users to customize scrolling speed and define how scrolling behaves when the direction is reversed. These preferences are saved and applied automatically in future sessions.

Accessing Power Wheel Preferences

When the Power Wheel is visible:

  1. Right-click the Power Wheel control.

  2. The Power Wheel Preferences dialog opens.

  3. Adjust speed or reverse direction settings.

  4. Select Save to apply changes, or × to close without saving.

Speed Settings

  • Up to 8 speed increments can be configured.

  • Default speed values include: 2, 10, 20, 40, 60

  • Each value must be numeric and between 1 and 60

  • Invalid or nonnumeric values are not accepted.

Reverse Direction Modes

When scrolling reverses direction, one of the following behaviors applies:

  • Stop on first increment, then reverse
Scrolling briefly stops before changing direction.

  • Reverse paging immediately
Direction changes instantly with no pause.

  • Decelerate quickly, then reverse
    Scrolling slows briefly, then reverses.

  • Decelerate slowly, then reverse
Scrolling gradually slows before reversing direction.

Unchanged Behavior

  • Leftclicking the Power Wheel always stops scrolling immediately, regardless of the selected reverse mode.

  • This interaction behavior cannot be configured and remains consistent.
